CESOP error 20070

“CorrDocRefId no longer valid”
The catalogue’s wording
Only CESOP can raise it

What it means

CorrDocRefId names a record that is no longer current — it has since been corrected or deleted. A correction always refers to the payee's latest version.

Why files get it

  • Two corrections to the same payee, both pointing at the original filing.

How to fix it

  1. Point CorrDocRefId at the DocRefId from the most recent message in which the payee was not fully rejected.

Catch the rest before you file

20070 depends on data CESOP already holds, so no validator can raise it in advance. Most of the catalogue does not: the free validator checks a file against every rule that can be tested before submission and names the CESOP error each finding would become.

The file is parsed in your browser tab. No upload, no account.
