CESOP error 20010
“DocRefID is not unique within the message”
Caught before you file
What it means
Two payees in the same message share a DocRefId. It identifies one reported payee, and must be unique.
Why files get it
- Payee records merged from two exports, each numbering from the same start.
- A reference derived from the payee's name or account, which repeats.
How to fix it
- Give every payee record its own newly generated DocRefId.
- Generate a fresh UUID version 4 — for example 3f1a2b4c-5d6e-4f70-8a9b-0c1d2e3f4a5b — rather than composing the value from dates, names or counters.
