CESOP error 10060
“Wrong format of the CorrMessageRefID”
Caught before you file
What it means
The CorrMessageRefId is not in the required format. Like every CESOP reference, it is a UUID version 4.
Why files get it
- A reference typed or transformed by hand.
- A value from another system's numbering.
How to fix it
- Copy the original message's MessageRefId exactly, as it was sent.
Check a file for 10060 before you submit
The free validator runs the CESOP business rules against your file and names the error each finding would become — 10060 included — so the Validation Result is not where you first hear about it.
The file is parsed in your browser tab. No upload, no account.
