CESOP error 50080

“Too many errors detected”
The catalogue’s wording
Only CESOP can raise it

What it means

CESOP found so many errors that it stopped validating. The Validation Result lists some of them, not all.

Why files get it

  • A systematic problem — a wrong reference format, a wrong date convention — repeated on every record.

How to fix it

  1. Fix the listed errors at their source rather than record by record: at this volume the cause is usually one mapping.
  2. Run the whole file through a validator that reports every finding before resubmitting.

Catch the rest before you file

50080 depends on data CESOP already holds, so no validator can raise it in advance. Most of the catalogue does not: the free validator checks a file against every rule that can be tested before submission and names the CESOP error each finding would become.

The file is parsed in your browser tab. No upload, no account.
